Outline

I.
a.Many people whine all the time about how they live but don't realize the way they live is way better than others situations.
b.Like people who live in slums. Which are run-down areas of a city characterized by poor housing and lack of security, also very crowded.
c.Although slums are dirty, overpopulated, and unsafe, those who live in slums are generally friendly and welcoming.
d.First of all slums are very dirty.


II.
a.Slums are the most dirty "homes", if you can call them that.
b."The foul river carries not just sewage, but also chemicals from farming estates outside the slum. It's littered with refuse; too: plastic bags, glass bags."
c.They litteraly live in trash.
d.Another struggle in slums is crowdedness.


III.Slums are tiny houses litteraly built side by side. They are the definition of crowded.
b."All eight of them are crowded into a one-room shack." describing how prisca musanga lives.
c.It isnt right for that many people to live in a small room. Everyone needs privacy and space.
d.The last point is about sanitation.


IV. a.Slums are very unhealthy.
b."a few steps into kiberia, we encounter brown-green water flowing through an open ditch." coming from sewage passing through slum.
c.THere is no sanitation at all. It is unhealthy for everyone.
d.Those are the three points.


V.a.Slums are not meant to be home.
b.They are dirty< crowded and lack sanitation.
c.They can get people really sick, and cause many health problems.
d.next time you feel you have it bad, think about those living in slums.
